ABOUT THE PROJECT

On September 15, 2022, The Alamite opened its doors to guests as the brand new and only luxury hotel in Tuscaloosa, just steps away from University of Alabama. Owned by legendary football coach, Nick Saban, West Fourth was tasked with raising awareness for the property by developing a consumer-facing brand positioning and narrative to support a steady stream of earned media coverage for the hotel opening news, resulting in direct bookings for the hotel and its two dining outlets, Roll Call and Forté. West Fourth partnered with Alabama Crimson Tide to launch a game day package at the hotel, and hosted journalists from People Magazine, Southern Living, and Forbes who experienced the property first-hand for feature coverage.

OBJECTIVE

Lead the opening public relations strategy for The Alamite Hotel, owned by Nick Saban, Head Football Coach at University of Alabama, and raise awareness for it being Tuscaloosa's only luxury boutique hotel.
