West Fourth Agency has represented The Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City and its on-site Mediterranean restaurant, Santé, since 2022. Originally tasked with generating earned media coverage for the multi-million dollar renovation of its public spaces through a targeted pitching strategy, PR has since then evolved to continue supporting the property with developing new trends, partnerships and programming to keep the hotel and restaurant in the news. Most notably, we developed an Engagement Package and experience to support the hotel’s needs for February business. Tied to Valentine’s Day, we partnered with leading Washington, D.C. jeweler, Shah & Shah, and luxury picnic company, Picnic & Peonies, giving individuals the opportunity to propose to their partner with a custom designed diamond ring in a picturesque D.C. park with a design-worthy picnic with speciality foods prepared by Chef, and a personal photographer on-site to capture the moment.

Back at the hotel, the couple were treated to a VIP suite experience including their photos printed and framed in a custom crystal frame from The Ritz-Carlton, a congratulatory cake and champagne pairing, and roses.

PR continues to develop new packages and partnerships, and provides an “always on” approach when pitching the iconic High Tea, and breakfast, lunch and dinner menus at on-site, upscale restauarant, Santé.

PR is currently preparing to launch its newest partnership for The Ritz-Carlton with Nordstrom in 2024.
